Seriously @ChadsPride , get a CB that you can tune from the radio vs having to go to the antenna all the time.

 

PAs are fun. I usually combine them with air horns so you scare the shit out of the idiot and then chew the motherfucker out as you go by.

 

I use them to holla at the fly ass honeys.

I actually saw that Uniden radio at the Flying J truck stop the other day. Looks really nice in person. They had it and the 880.

If mine craps out, I'm going to replace it with that one. Especially since the hole I cut in my center console fits it perfectly

 

Where did you cut it out in the center console?

 

I wish. At the age where my night vision is getting a little weaker. Might as well paint the windows over driving at night with 5%.

That will probably be one of those that lasts forever. My dad's cb is at the house somewhere and it's close to 40 years old. I can promise you that cobra will turn on and work if I hooked it up. Things are beasts.

 

Yeah. It's awesome. But what helps it last is that tuning thing. People usually don't check it regularly and that's where it'll get you. I check mine actually every time I turn it on, just to be sure. Takes seconds to calibrate

The weather bands are kinda meh, but it's good to have. They need a sultry woman's voice IMO.

This is why I want a PA.

 

The smaller ones will have a bad PA power output unless you went with a powered one.
