What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

i lost my dtrls but i like the additional features this relay gives...not to mention the customizable hazards.

 

It may be easier just to buy a Gentex Mirror with temp and compass built in. My 2015 had just a plain mirror. I bought a mirror on eBay specifically plug and play for our trucks. Yes, even my 2015 has the wires and plugs hidden up in the headliner.

Now having the temp and compass in my 2015 (however I chose the model that only displayed one at a time, others can do both) I find it easier to read and see then having to look upward at an angle to see the temp and compass on my 2007. Plus the mirrors don't fail often as the console ones do. This maybe why Toyota stopped using them.

I got myself one of those from Bob's Mirrors (vendor here on TW). Got the one that display temp and compass at the same time. Love it!!!

 

Considering what they cost in the Pro package, that's suuuuuuper cheap! I'm even more tempted now because those things look badass!

Do you guys think these have any value? 36,000 miles and rusted all to hell. My grand plan was to throw them on CL when I got Billies but that one is so ratty I don't know if anyone would want them.

 

I doubt it but put them on buy trade sell and see if any wants them.

 

If you wheel I'd keep the back ones for spares on the trail.

 

If you don't need for spares throw them on CL

Finished my pop and lock install by making permanent covers for the other holes.

 

Close enough for me. Hell of a lot better than Tuesday that's for sure!

 

Made 2 runs to the dump with tree trimmings. Now I shouldn't have to play limbo while I mow the lawn.

Also, installed AVS Ventshades.

Doesn't look like anything some sand paper and paint won't fix! For $10 in supplies and a few hours of your time, you'd raise the potential selling price quite a bit. Now, I'd pay $60 for them but if they were clean, at least $120 or so.

Some did, some didn't. My 2010 doesn't have them.

 

yeah like la0d0g mentioned, it seems to be hit and miss around the 09-10 year range. My '09 has them and it was built in September of 08
