I just got mine back from the PC'er last night, gonna try and get her mounted today after work. I still have to cut the f.fenders in the process, and I also got a couple pods and a 20" single row bar for behind the grill. Im pretty pumped. If youre around this weekend we might could do yours on sunday if youre ready?

What's the status of the apparatus on tomorrow's shindig? Seems like a postpone? Final word yet?

Didn't get any sleep last night, had to fix three dirt bikes...

Just drove through one of the worse storms I've seen, couldn't see the road at all. But I'm in Winters, the weather is clearing up... Austin or bust

The power at the gas station I'm stopped at has lost power twice in 5 min, haha

Don't order them from Rigid directly! Talk to Morgan at @sidetracked he can get you a way better deal! That's where I bought all my rigid lights from and he has a warehouse in Texas I think so you get them in like 2 days

So far here are the people coming to my house to learn how to do some normal maintenance work on their trucks. Gonna be doing an oil change, rear diff oil change, change the plugs and cabin air filter. I have this for the first weekend in June. We can do it either Friday or Saturday:

    Latest Edit: 5/19/2017 1045AM

    Weather Report: https://www.wunderground.com/us/tx/marble-falls
Summary: Chance of Rain Saturday 45%+ 8AM to 8PM

Yall, I dont know what to think about the weather. Its 45% chance and higher. Ive never been to HF so I am hoping any of the veterans can chime in and share what they feel would be best to do. Should we go? Should we postpone? The original plan for this trip was to take @ChadsPride up to the tower so we could all get pictures as a group up top.

Heavy rain turns the park into a bit of a mess. The trail up to the radio tower shouldn't be an issue. Pretty much anything else will be a different story.

The road to the tower won't be bad in the rain but the rest of the park gets slippery. If I lived closer the rain probably wouldn't keep me away but if you won't have experienced people in the group I probably wouldn't go. Just because nobody really wants to stand in the rain to spot everyone. If you've got CB's then I would put your most experienced person up front and one in the rear and that way they can offer direction to the less experienced drivers via CB without standing in the rain.

Keep in mind, rain is forecast to begin tonight so it'll likely be wet before we even get there.

I have three reasons for doing HF right now: seeing @ChadsPride take his mall crawler off road, showing off/testing my new sliders, and apparently there's a whole bunch of easier trails that I've never explored that I'd like to check out. As a bonus it fun meeting people people and off-roading together. Considering two of those three are not going to happen, I'm doubtful I'll make it. It's nearly a two-hour drive for me so it can't be a last minute decision. I wish I was more prepared for recovery, then I'd be happy to go and practice in the rain. I'll check back in tonight to see if there's a definitive decision.

The park does turn to a slippery mess with rain, making even some of the easier obstacles more difficult. Thats not to say that yall can't have fun in the mud by any means but if you are really all going to get together and to get a photo bear in mind that a photo in bad weather may not be worth it, and yall could possibly just set up a local meet to get together. Which could prevent any unnecessary trail damage and possibly enable more folks to join if its local.

I am not on the list to attend so my $.02 aint worth much. But i have been out there in good, poor and bad weather and the trails and park roads can change quickly. so just be aware of that.

    Hope this helps y'all!

Hey y'all  made it to Norman Ok last night...had to pull over a few times because of the hail and rain was so heavy. Thought for sure my gf's rogue was gonna be covered in hail dents but nothing that I could see. We're about halfway to Omaha now!

I didn't bring my truck down so I can play designated spotter.

It gets gnarly out there when it's wet, and if there's buggies out playing it gets worse. If the storm I drove through in Sweetwater was any indication I'd say creek trails are out of the question for anyone not experienced.

However, fuck it, if @Toyboata deives my ass up there im down AF. More skinny pedal to "warm up the rocks" combined with a winch and we should be fine. But I haven't been to the park since last winter break, and I've heard it keeps getting nastier because of buggies tearing shit up after a good rain
