It appears today's heat melted the leather on my shift knob (I know that actually didn't happen, but how bout this heat huh?!). It was on its last legs anyways. The leather started coming off and there was a weird gooey/sticky substance under it, so I said eff it and took it off this morning. Been rolling around all day like this:

Update: Truck'n has the harness I need and I am going to pick it up after work.

I donated my stock shift knob a long time ago when I got my new (now old) custom one. I think I donated it to @Namyo . Not sure if hes still around. My new one is a trd one, has a nice feel to it. Check them out. They can be a bit expensive, but worth it.

I've done Peter's Mill stock several times with one part where I really had to watch my approach angle but nothing like that would bend any steps or need sliders for.

I went there once and went on one of the side trails and barely dragged a nerf bar on a rock. Didn't even get down to bare metal though.

I am cheap. I will probably just get whatever they have at Advance Auto or Auto Zone.

she said no problem. She has to order the vinyl so it will take a couple days.

it pays to stay the trail man....

while I somewhat agree... he also did this while trying to tackle an obstacle that his truck wasnt equipped to handle. he took a risk and learned a lesson....
