Hmm, walked out to the truck last night and the cover that goes over the bolt is missing. Think I should replace it or leave it as is?

Id find a suitable grommet plug similar in size. Did someone try to steal your cover and ripped it?

Don't know. Just noticed it's not there. Not sure exactly when it went missing.
Pretty sure it wasn't someone trying to steal it though. Retry small water locked town we have here.

Just got the bolt at true value hardware for $1.70. I wonder if the $78 includes the metal piece under the cover that lines it up to the striker...

From my measurements, these screws are countersunk M6 25mm pitch 1.00. If you want to save yourself for $30.

This is a good question for me.
I picked up an OEM tonneau on craigslist with no hardware (cheap) and ordered all the other mounting parts from my local dealer (sans the $88 bolt part no. 64935-04010) Hopefully Ordering one of the ARP bolt sets and should have everything I need?

can anyone post a pic of where this bolt goes into the striker? I havent gotten the parts in but would be helpful to see if I might be missing something.

Instead of trying to draw lines, I used the raised dots on the rail to keep my line straight. I think it might have been the 3rd row of dots.

Used the little circular sander to evenly round out the corners.

Awesome thread! I picked up a TC off CL with the pegs but no screws as the seller had an aftermarket bed cover installed he said the installers used it. I did get the bolt but now need the torq screws to be able to mount it.

These screws that you purchased were they $30 for all? I'm also missing the covers that go over the pegs to hide the head of the screws and the middle pegs that goes under the rear sliding window. Any info helps, thanks in advance.
