    hello tacoma world!!
i just got my baby a few months ago and i have many plans for her!! i wanna put in a 3-4 in lift kit. I've done alooooot of searching and reading up on different lifts, but i still don't know what to go with or which brand is the most durable. I'm mainly trying to go with struts or coils, none of those spacers. Heard terrible things about em...Right now im looking at Rough Country 4-inch Suspension Lift Kit for 05-15 Toyota Tacoma...any reviews for this? It's on ebay and it seems like it has all the works. If i go with this lift will i need new arm controls?

Welcome to the forum. You will need UCAs for a 3-4" coilover lift.

Your a prerunner so look at a set of spindles instead.

Yeah you're going to need to find a way to lift the rear. There's a few ways like AAL's and blocks (oh god).

Spindles up front and Dakar leaf pack in the rear. You'll need to replace the shocks too.

Check out @HeadStrong Off-Road...Marie is super helpful if you have questions and can steer you in the right direction.

Don't feel like you need to be limited to a prepackaged kit.

don't buy a "kit" they usually cheap out some where. Like others said, talk to a dealer like headstrong, and they will put together a kit made from off the shelf, ala carte stuff that will work well together. Spindles, good shocks and a complete leaf pack since you plan on wheeling.

From someone who has used rough country in the past, and had to put an additional $1,000 on top of the $1,000 "lift kit" to make it functional. i would stay away from rough country if you plan on using the truck as a truck.

    Welcome to the forum!

The spindles are the perfect affordable way to lift your PreRunner up the 4" without sacrificing the ride quality or factory geometry. If you have any questions let me know. (I have a Prerunner too :yay:)

There are several ways to lift the rear of the truck. The best place to start is to measure your truck so you know how far off you are from back to front. I just pm'd you some information on doing so :)
