I have a 3inch toytec lift on my yota and im thinking about putting 285/75/16's on it. I was wondering if they will rub and if not what wheel offset do i need

    Welcome to TW!

Yes, They will rub. How much varies from truck to truck. A wheel with 4.5" back space seems to help.

it lokks good with the 285s, but i think i might settle for the girl scout tires and go 32s so i dont have to put up with the rubbing plus get a little power back

I've got 285/75-16s (BFG ATs) on my '01 DoubleCab with a 3" ToyTech lift and didn't have any fender rub with stock rims. They did rub the frame a little on a full turn though. Nothing too bad. I put those tires on some aftermarket 16x8 American Racing wheels and have no problems at all now with rubbing. They are an inch wider than stock, and I think another 1/2" positive offset.

you should have no problems with those. They will bring your wheel and tire out away from the UCA and give you more clearance.

My old 04 Taco PreRunner Xtra cab had 3" Toytec lift w/285's and stock rims. Rubbed on full lock-to-lock turns on frame only. Fenders were OK. Looked good too
