The truck and manual calculations where usually pretty close for me. The scangauge had a bit more variability to it. For example if your driving was always the same type it was consistent but if I alternated towing in there or had a string headwind it would throw it off.

Had to run to the store at the top of the mountain this evening. This was the way home. Wish this was my normal mpg. Lol

Ohhh I got this! Let me dig up the pic. I took one after going down Pike's Peak last summer  Locked almost entirely in 2nd or 1st gear, never even touched the gas and only hit the brakes like twice around the sharpest bends. Temp check halfway down and the brakes were under 100ºf on a pretty warm day. Not too shabby! Family van in front was way too hot and had to stop to cool down.

And as far as worst goes, this is on the way back to Kansas from Colorado or the other way around, I forget which when I needed gas (obviously). That's what going 75-80 MPH in a taco will do for you haha. Funny looking back as I'm already at 32,000 miles and counting down till out of warranty. Gotta get my some stuff fixed again before I hit that!

I'll update this post when I do a 30 mile trip, I'm sure there's bound to be one. I think to my Fiancee's and back it's almost exactly that. I usually get about 17-18 in that case but I can baby it  Don't wanna derail the thread too bad.

4.1 miles?? you are cheating. If I had posted the first 4 miles on that trip it would have showed 99.99 mpg!

Haha yeah I know. If I would post a long trip it wouldn't be so great. But I knew that little store run back down the mtn would post a decent number.

I lived in Flag from '92-'99 then I moved to Co. I loved filling up on Milton, descending to VV, then filling up to see the wicked high realistic MPGs.

You're a brave man to drive 65mph on the NE extension, lol. That almost requires using the hazard lights so as not to get rear-ended.

    Mostly stuff I built.
If I drove slow enough to get these mileages id get run over here in Texas. Posted speed limits are merely a fucking suggestion around here. If it is a 70mph 9 out of 10 cars on the road will be running 85mph.
