Bobby Hull beat the shit out of his wife and he's on the cup too. No one cares, sadly. Kane, Hull, Voynov... all clear cases Hockey players can do whatever they want and the league won't do a thing until there is jail time involved.

 

Murray starts. I knew that. This whole city's media all wrote about how it's not even a question, MAF gets the start. Lol idiots.

 

I think it is a poor decision on the Penguin's part. Fluery has been playing pretty damn well in this playoff run. The pens need a spark after that shitty showing in game 3, but I don't think the switch to Murray is it.

 

I get that but it really has nothing to do with anything that has happened prior to this series. Ottawa came out hot last game and you can't go down 4 goals in the first 10mins. Pens need an early lead if they want to get the ball rolling on offense and get Ottawa to break their system. Letting up an early goal at this stage, is making it way harder. When you look at your options, Murray is your starter, he's a little bit better in general. Also, MAF has way more of a history of letting in a goal on he first shot, along with getting rattled. I get it that the D played insanely bad to start game 3 but MAF did NOTHING to help matters. Not 1 big save. The first puck that came into the zone wasn't even on net and he was butterflying out of his crease, overplaying it as it went wide. 5 seconds later it is in the net. Murray doesn't do that stuff. It's all about sending a message, a spark but also putting in the guy who the coach feels is more sturdy and calm when stuff goes bad. If Pens can get the lead, things will probably be a lot easier. So everything goes hand-in-hand.

Yeah I was surprised they used Bobby in the commercial. The Jets retired his number this year and asked him not to bother showing up LOL. If they wanted to put family in there they should have gone with the Niedermayers or something.
