    I think its for lighting up the bed or in hunting or night activity you can point out into the distance. Just convenience issues really, I want them for when I go camping incase of a late night tent setup like I usually do, or raccoon hunting.

    Well one, when you offroading in very dusty conditions the person driving behind you cant see you very well so you turn on the amber lights and they show up perfictly in the dust. second the clear lights work great for backing up in really dark areas such as trails and desert.
