Spill Beer no more

Ok if your like me and use your tailgate as a work bench than you usally have a cold beverage next to you. Well I got tired of spilling my beer so I installed this took less than 2 minutes to install.

Also, I'm trying to see if that's a fortune cookie in the gap between the bed and tailgate.

I ended up spending about $80 for a tail gate mat that "levels" out the narrow ridges/valleys of the tail gate....
This looks much better

 

Genius! Could you potentially put a magnet on it? In case you're working on tires or brakes and need to move the cold beverage along with the tools.

Yeah magnets were going to actually be my first choice but not sure how strong they would need to be to support the weight of the beverage.Oh btw the holder at the top is adustable.

 

Mind sharing where you purchased this rad mod? I could do some testing of the magnets with a water bottle.

 

Good Ol china mart I mean Walmart. I Used 3 #8 x 1/2" metal screws. There is 6 holes 3 on top and three on the bottom I'm sure if you used small enough diameter T sluts you could attach to the bed rail also.

 

I got mine from Amazon over a year ago. Use it alot with no issues. Held on with adhesive and it doesn't budge

I don't have one, but I've heard they work great on pinball legs.
