I just bought my first Truck/Tacoma, and swapped out the old tires for some new ones. Original tires that came with it p265/70r17 hankook AT. New tires 265/70r17 Falken Wildpeak AT.
The old tires tread was low so didn't have any issues turning or anything but once I put the new tires on the tread rubs the back of the Front wheel well right on the cab frame whenever I make a sharp turn or reversing off my driveway, can anyone tell me what I can do to make the rubbing stop? Also it's Stock suspension no lifts or levels.

Stock suspension maybe/probably is sagging. That is a stock size tire and should not rub. What wheels?

Might also need an alignment and up the caster.

What should I get the caster to?

Wheels not tires. The higher the caster the more it pulls the wheel forward away from the firewall.

Judging by your avatar they are some fancy aftermarket wheels.. That might be the cause of your issue too. Different backspacing than stock.

So I just trimmed some of the plastic off the wheel wells and it doesn't rub anymore unless I reverse off my driveway which is just alittle now, but will be putting a leveling kit on it in acouple days so that might help just alittle more. What do you think?

My stock tires were 245's :notsure:

That will help but will result in a more hash feeling ride (the spacers)

Definitely not stock tire size... I put 255/75r17 on mine after I bought it and they were definitely wider and obviously taller

If you're not on factory wheels, they probably have a different offset. That will have an affect on tires possibly rubbing.

If I were you I'd buy a set of bilstein 5100's that are adjustable and put those on the front on the first setting higher than stock

    Cut until it stops rubbing.
Increasing caster will move the upper balljoint closer to the firewall.

I was like when I starting driving
Then I made a turn to park and was sad as hell when it rubbed.

265/70-17 is just one size over factory. Typically this will fit just fine. On a wheel with less offset, it will make it rub just a bit. A slight lift will eliminate that issue.

Well I can't return the tires so get new rims or a lift? Would a level be alright until I can afford a good lift? If we go with rims could you tell me what offset would be good, would like to get American racing rims

Just depends what you're going for. 0mm offset is a nice stance and the tire doesn't stick out too far. You didn't say if you had factory wheels. You don't have to get new wheels, just a slight lift will eliminate your slight rub, if it's the wheels that are causing it.

Honestly, it's just better to get yourself some bilstein 5100s and choose your lift height with them. Either way you'll have to get an alignment, so may as well as get the proper parts.

I had a similar issue. I had 265/75/16 on stock suspension. I rubbed pretty good in a "S" turn and almost went right into another car because I was unable to turn my wheel. I was going 45 in the turn. So that was it. I was going to get a lift because I wanted one anyway. Well fast fwd about 6 months. After I lifted my truck with OME lift I bought a ARB bumper as well. My driver side needle bearing had to be replaced. Now my entire front end is clunking and the Dakar leafs squeak so bad I am considering buying General Spring leaf springs and going stock and running the correct size tire. Idk if Im getting old or what But this is my only Vehicle beside the one in my profile pic and that is a project car. Each to their own.
