Be interested to see what the NHL does for the high hit to the head on Ruhwedel. Officials need to start calling these hits, it's ridiculously uneven.

 

Ruhwedel gets cut on face by high stick and then gets hit elbow first in the head causing injury. What should have been a double minor and major + game misconduct gets no call.

Only one penalized was Cole lol. Yep, refs definitely rooting for the Pens.

 

where were all these Pens fan after game 3?

After Fleury let in 4 of the first 9 shots I went on a nice long walk with my dog.

 

I didnt feel like it was all his fault until the wrap around goal......fuck that was brutal. Right after another goal and your asleep like that

 

I really don't understand how this is even possible in professional hockey, but it seems the Pens get away with something like this every game.

 

Oh please. Lets look at facts.

a) Ruhwedel's visor cut his nose due to the hit. The sens stick hit Ruhwedel's side of the head for a split second. Watch the replay. Ruh was trying to sell a penalty, just as the Diving Pens were doing all game.
b) Ruhwedel turned around and was basically bent over head first when Ryan was already committed to the hit and followed through as he should. If you (again) watch the replay, his head was basically at Ryan's hip upon contact, and the elbow was alongside the body the entire time and was never extended until after the initial contact. Not sure what other body part you want Ryan to hit when he is leaning like that.
c) Cole should have gotten an instigator major for jumping Ryan.

Id like to know your defense for Kessel crying like a baby after a slash on the left hand when he raised his right hand in pain. Don't get me wrong, it was a slash, but the reaction was bushleague.

 

Same here, only difference is Gretzky was indahouse and LA graduated from being a Pitt -like banana yellow crowd to the more urban, waaaayyyyyy cooler silver/black LA Raider style.

 

Yeah, he did a great job of selling the concussion. Turn your TV on before you post next time.

 

Just because a guy gets a concussion doesn't make the hit illegal.
