    Hello Everyone,

    I am picking up a 2010 taco 4 door.
I wanted the PQAT JBL option, but they would have to order it.
I am going with the PYAT option w/ the DZAT 6 disc CD.

Is the PQAT option worth it for +$900 more

I wanted to have the dealer put the stock carbon fiber dash kit on it.
Does anyone know how many pieces it is? I have seen some kits w/ 44+ pieces that even do the rear!

Next, I was planning to convert the radio to an after market, adding HD, Bluetooth, IPOD
What happens to the carbon fiber piece for the radio?
Does it come off, and not get replaced?
Custom one made? To match stock??

The stock radio dash looks pretty clean. Does an aftermarket system take away from those looks/

Any help or opinions would be appreciated.

    M

    Yes,

    The options are:
    TRD Sprt with JBL
    or
    TRD Sport without JBL

Personally, I got a TRD sport non jbl. I originally wanted the 7 speakers, but for the money it would have cost me for the stereo upgrade + BT and Ipod, I decided to get the base TRD Sport and spent $600 on a new HU with BT and Ipod.

Everything I have read, the JBL HU, and ceiling speakers are garbage, and the rear door speakers can hardly be heard.

Not to mention that the subwoofer looks ridiculous.

Yes go with aftermarket. You'll get a better system that way.

I have a 2010 TRD dbl cab w/o JBL. Single cd unit. Can anyone recommend an aftermarket unit that will give me Bluetooth and iPod and not cost me my first born???
    Thanks.

The kit came on my X-SP and I love it. I believe the one I have is a 11pc. kit. Not sure if it will work on the factory JBL radio since its a 6 disk head unit with additional buttons....then again, there looks to be cut outs on my kit that could accomidate those extra buttons. Anyways, here are some pics:
