I plan to take it to a shop to get it done.
One shop quoted me $120 here in SoCal.
When asked he said that it will be lesser if I could bring the plates for him to complete the job.
    Hence my question.

@Speed Freek can help, he's in Vista. He's got the plates pre-cut and the plasma cutter comes down the driveway to greet you!

Niiiice! :). I like that very much. thanks bro.
@Speed Freek : My trucks at the body shop, and I'd hopefully get it back next week. But I'd be out of town the coming weekend. So we can meet up the week after if it works out. I'd much appreciate your time if you could spare a little for me. I'd pay you of-course. ;)

How much do you plan on saving after it is all said and done?

$120 all said and done is actually a really fair price. I believe the owner of BAMF used to do CMC's for $100.

$120 to do the work after you buy the material. What does that cost?

Where did OP mention that? In the first post he made it sound like $120 for everything, but less if he brought in his own plates.

Your right, my bad. I read it as $120 for labor.

I charge $100 for 3rd gens and $90 for 2nd gens. Third gens are a little tougher cuz they have a stupid square tube in the middle that makes it more difficult to cut off. But that price includes everything. Just an option. @Speed Freek does great work and comes highly recommended by many! There are a lot of good dudes who can take care of you

How long does it normally take you to get it done & where are you located? And where is @Speed Freek located? Just wondering to gauge the distance of my drive when I decided to get mine done.

Bout an hour to hour and a half

I'm in Lomita 90717 and he I believe is in Vista CA

Yeah man, definitely makes more sense to go to whichever one is closer if the price is very close and the quality is close as well. Like I said, I'm just giving you an option
