i need an alingment shop asap

    help just finished installing my l.r. uca's and now it is worse than before...
    firestone says that the best they can do....
    and no other one will touch it
    im in long island and work in brooklyn

    anyone have any good places

    Go to David's shop. Seriously, he does top quality work and knows Tacomas.

    He aligned my long travel pile of crap and can definitely get yours set up properly.

    yea id love to but it is like 1hour 45 mins away not to mention $25 tolls and $30 gas.....
    not to mention a half or whole days pay.....

    well i think i am gonna do it myself...if i set the ball joints at -2.0 caster on each side"all the way foward
    and i adjust the camber in a lil on each side i should be perfect??????
    then ill bring it back to firestone "lifetime" and have it checked and offer to teach some of there so called techs how to do there job....

    LOL...I just posted in that other alignment thread about how you are hating on Firestone-

    You bring them something complex and you probably aren't going to get a great result....You have to set it up or show them what you want- cause other wise they are going to get it as close as they can and call it done.
    They don't get paid to spend two hours working on your rig....They could do three or four normal cars in that time....

    hey dave............^^^^^^ do you think thats a good idea to do........ set them at -2.0 and slide the top camber adjustment in closer to the car a little bit then bring it back and see what the measurments are then
    i mean id love to bring it to your shop you are the best from what i hear......but it just too far for now

    yea its not even that i mean i brought them the uca's to show them how they worked before i installed them.....yea no problem they siad....
    and i look and they are still set at 0.0 caster and same on camber....
    the sad part is i am not a mechanic " plumber"
    and i offered to teach them but you know
