Scored some 4 week old weather techs on Craigslist. Guy traded his truck in when they impounded the damn thing for the recall while he was getting an oil change. 90 bucks for the Full set!

What size bolts are those to mount the rtmr bracket

 

Just completed oem black bumper insert install. Took about an hour. Hardest part was the alligator clips, otherwise very easy, just be careful with all the clips. Probably could've been done quicker but I was super careful.

Had my 25,000 mile checkup today also the recall on the rear diff. No leaks bolts retorqed from 14 to 18. Advisor said they haven t seen any trucks with leaks . I am happy truck still on a roll with no issues with truck since purchase date of 10/25/15.

 

Did they do the alignment for free? I'm soon due for the 15k service

 

I wouldn t think dealer would do a free alignment unless you buy new vehicles there on a yearly basis

 

I wish but they only charged me $69 for the alignment and did the balance for free since the rotate is included in the 2 year Toyota Care .....

 

Thats about right price of the alignment. Firestone charges 170 for lifetime alignment

 

I think the Goodyear tire place close to me is around $150/160 for lifetime alignment

 

The guy that will be installin my new shocks this week worked for firestone and said they have the second best alingment setup so that will be my choice

 

14" 700lb springs (Icon part#158508) went on the Icons. Zero rake even with the slimline bumper/winch and the the ride is phenominal. Allot less preload now as well.

Yeah!! I'm actually astonished on what a difference this has made in driveability. I also like looking at my truck and seeing it perfectly level! I was definately beyond recommended maximum preload settings before.

 

Replaced my "Lost" shackle with a nice bright red one! Threw in some Loctite to make it a bit less likely to come loose and maybe stop the casual thief next time.

 

I would of spot welded the screw to the shackle.
