Nice! First few things I did was plasti dip badges, replace bed side decals, lamin-x covers on the fog lights, and a light bar in the front grill.

I really want to get rid of my chrome grill and trade it out for a black one. I also want to dip the badges, did you do it yourself?

    Welcome to TW, Nice truck.
If your really trying to go offroading, Skids and sliders are always at the top of my list. If you just want to hit some fire roads and the beach then they aren't as important.

It's a piece of cake. If you get any over spray anywhere, some goo gone will wipe it right up.

There are a lot of good options to choose from. IT will come down to personal taste and preference. Sliders you have the option of bolt on or weld on. Weld on may be stronger than bolt on but both are good options. Weld on will also be less expensive. Since I think your in cali I would recommend finding a local place that makes them to save on shipping. For skids I recommend the same. Both are typically solid steel and for skids you have a more expensive but lighter option of aluminum. Aluminum skids wont be as strong as steel but they will save weight. Steel skids can be beat back into shape where aluminum may crack from a hard enough hit. I"m not very fam, iliar with shops in cali so its hard to recommend something close to you. You amy find suggestions in the Socal thread here https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/southern-california.43/ or i'm sure if you asked thre you can find good recommendations close to you.

I have gone with Mobtown Bolt on sliders on my 3rd gen and have been pleased with them. Great quality and workmanship but pricey. They are on the east cost so shipping can get expensive. I actually still need skids and will probably use a local shop or member on here that makes skids and is also fairly local.
