Bumping up to 285's and I think I'm done with this project for a bit... (suspension and tires ~ I mean, the rest, well... they're never "done")

I have already spent $100 on the ECGS front diff bushing to fix vibs and still have to replace my front diff actuator for the 4 wheel drive to work. Almost makes me miss being a Prerunner.

Roughed in without the shock so I could cycle it with the wheel & tire mounted. Took a bit of cutting for the 34's.

    20170519_103548.jpg

Now we put on the Kings

    20170519_132236.jpg

And then the Ray10's & Nitto Ridge Grappler 287/75/17 (34")

    20170519_192838.jpg

And for reference, I'm 6'1". The front bumper went up almost 6", the door sill went up 4. Hub to fender went from 22 9/16 to 26" even. I was on 5100/885's before. Might lower the Kings since it looks to have some bro lean. But I'm so tired after today I can't see straight so I'll worry about it tomorrow.

Thems be Pro Comp uni balls I picked up from a member. While changing the rusted/seized old uniball bearings I rubbed off the decals, sucks but function>form.

I was just curious about the UCA. I mean, for all practical purposes they look just like Camburg. Which is what I would get

Yeah there's only so many ways to make a UCA for the same truck. I think like many things it comes down to what looks best and/or costs less to you. These were a decent deal paired with the spindles I got off him, otherwise the brand meant nothing when I was shopping.

Haha ya they are! Much bigger than I thought, pics don't do em justice. I got everything setup at work for painting them tomorrow, made a nice spot in the shop and hung the hooks so I can get it knocked out, too excited to get em on in a couple/few days!

I've been looking into putting maxtrac spindles on my truck for a while now, right now I have just a 2inch leveling kit and I'm running 275/65r18s. Yes I rub a lot considering they're mud terrains and I wanted to lift more to get rid of rubbing and for more clearance. I'm wondering if anyone has 4-6inch of lift with the same or similar size tire. It's about a 32.3" tire by 11"

Tons of members with spindle lifts run that size if not larger tires
