The dealer that applied my ceremic coat applied a tire shine that I did not ask for. That tire shine slung on various panels. When I discovered it, I wiped it off however it left a stain under every drop. I am pretty pissed. The truck barely has 1000 miles on it. Pics below

Also, does anyone know anything about Toyota's paint warranty?

    Thanks!

I tried wax, rubbing compound, clay bar, WD40, and rubbing alcohol. This shit has changed the color of the paint.

That's strange did you try a light cutting compound?

This is not the first thread on this issue.

    Elbow grease will remove it.

Isn't the point of ceramic coat to "coat" the paint?

Why not take it back to the shop that did your ceramic job?

Honestly it doesn't appear so bad, don't sweat it.

I tried a rubbing compound, not a cutting. That is above my skill level I think.

I am taking it to the shop on monday. I agree it isn't horrible. But I just dropped 45k 9 days ago for this truck. I don't want to start accepting blemishes before 2k miles.

The shop should be able to buff it out for you.

A cutting compound would be a last resort as you are taking off paint by "cutting" it but I honestly had 2 brown spots that wouldn't clay off and got them off with wax and a ton of elbow grease. Maybe yours embedded inside of the ceramic coat and that's the reason it won't come off?

At this point I am letting the shop deal with it. Maybe they will have some magical thing in their shop.
