'upper b' yesterday (most rep ranges were around 9-10, since upper 1 on mon was around 5-7 reps):

flat bench: 135x10, 225x5, 275x3, 315x1, 225x14 (that's a pr)
incline db bench: 2 sets
wide grip pullups (as wide as possible): 2 sets
t-bar rows: 3 sets
single-arm linear jammer: 2 sets

superset -
bent over db flies: 2 sets
db side raises: 2 sets
db front raises: 2 sets

walking db shrugs (I walked around the gym shrugging dumbbells): 3 sets w/ 125 lb. dumbbells until I couldn't hold the weight anymore...grip strenf ftmfw

superset -
overhead rope triceps extension: 3 sets
standing e bar curl: 3 sets

superset -
close-grip bench: 2 sets
standing reverse-grip db curls: 2 sets

Was gonna do 'lower b' today, but my quads are still sore from Tues, so I'm gonna do them in the morning.

 

I didn't know Freebirds was in other areas. For some odd reason, I was under the impression that the only one was in Isla Visa(college town for ucsb).

I've actually been eating a lot more salads for lunch...usually right after I go to the gym. Trying to slim up the tums.

 

Freebirds is all over TX, Qdoba is all over the place. Even taking the food poisoning out of the equation, I still would rather have Qdoba, it's that good.

Haha that's what I was thinking. I do the bare minimum to get results then I get out of the gym haha. But I'm still a newbie so I can get away with that.

 

I could be wrong but I think Zach does a hypertrophy day and then a strength day. At least I thought he was doing that. And this looks like a hypertrophy day.

I too have high volume days then other days I'll go lift 10 sets and done. Doing that really helped my deadlift go up quick

I do the same amount of work someone who hits each muscle once a week would, but it's just split up into 2 days. Why hit chest once a week when the body is ready again after a few days? My strength is going up on a cut, so I'd say it's working. It takes about an hour.

 

I don't even train at all. Because I don't want to "over train". Can't over train if you never train blackguypointingtohead.jpg
