Replaced radiator bushings at 30k miles. I used the universal kit from Energy Suspension, with the large part on top.

Replaced the map and dome lights to LEDs. All originally bought from superbrightleds.com but the dome light it said would fit my '14 was too big so I went to AutoZone and bought a 6000k LED bulb. Probably not as bright as the first but it's brighter than stock and the white light gives the interior a cleaner look and feel to me. Very easy and cheap mod!

    Stock, for now.
I was wondering if this happened elsewhere because Hawaii IS Tacoma world.
Gassing up at Costco last week, in the 12 available pumps 7 were Tacomas, with 2 more waiting in line. Then as I'm leaving the parking lot, there is an area for about 20 vehicles... 5 more Tacomas and no other vehicles.

Plumbed up my Avair 1 gallon tank to go with my compressor. Couldn't find a place for it under the hood so I got a little extension hose to hook to the compressor when in use. It sits nicely on top of the power steering reservoir:

Everything fits nice any tidy behind the driver's side back seat:

Picked up my shell today. Not the same color but I already bought the paint to match. Got this for ONLY $300 and I sold my trifold to my buddy so I only came out of pocket for $100. Can't beat that. Just had to drive down from Vegas. I am from Socal so it was a nice little get away. Had my brother picked it up and hold on to it for me. IMG_2987.jpgIMG_2989.jpg

She's on her own weight!!! She is sitting a bit low at 19" to the frame with over 3.5" of shock shaft showing. 12" total shock stroke. Gonna bring it up an inch. @1uzrnr laid down a ton of welds today. I can't thank him enough. Still got a long ways to go but this is a huge milestone and I'm pretty excited

Hub to fender is 24" so just over a 3" lift, 3 link SAS on 37s. Gotta cut the hell out of my fenders tho.

I think the guy said he was installing that on an ATV so it might not be strong enough for a 4000lb Tacoma. For a winch I'd go with a more established brand like Warn.

LVLs and other versions of engineered lumber are super strong structural members made from glued strands of scrap lumber. They are dead straight, much stronger than an equivalently sized length of traditional pine, can but produced from farmed trees and not old growth and are usually resistant to rot and insect damage.

They are typically used for long span supporting members in timber frame structures. Garage beam headers, floor joist supports and on and on.

Has anyone wrapped the top edge of their hood? I am tired of getting blinded by the suns reflection off the scalloped edge of the hood where it hits the cowl. I am trying to picture how wide of a stripe would make sense visually.

So is the use of such a long level not specific to LVL? Or is LVL the only wood used in a scenario where one that long would be necessary?
There are others on here who have wrapped the center portion of their good to reduce glare off the scoop. It actually looks really good.
