3rd gen suspension on 2nd gen?

That's very unlike Marie, she usually gets back within the hour even on late nights, if she's not responding I'm sure there's a good reason

 

Funny thing is she was online posting "thank you" replies for people recommending @HeadStrong Off-Road in the same thread where I mentioned I pm'd her. Lol. I guess I'm under the radar.

Didn't realize there's a market for this. Seems so obvious now. I'll be sellin my 3rd gen full suspension shortly, then.
Where's the proper forum/channel to do this ? Trying to prevent newbie mistakes.

 

I purchased a 2017 shocks and coils on the gen 3 marketplace forum.

Anybody know if my 2007 top hat nuts will work on the 2017 top hat bolts. One of the coil overs I purchased from the 2017 did not have the 3 nuts for top hat. Trying to have everything ready for the install.

Just don't expect a ton of money. The whole idea behind this "lift" is that it is cheap.

 

put 2017 TRD OR suspension today , added a half inch spacer up front and a 1.5" add a leaf in the back .

 

@Ricky B how did the swap come out? Any lift in front? Going to put my 18' OR suspension on a friends 07' just want to know what to expect.

 

About 1" up front for a DC 4x4, or just very slightly over 1". Mine did not really sag after a year of driving. Potentially even a bit more on a lighter AC or 2wd.

 

yes it can be done, my truck is a SR5 4x4 2011, the suspension I put on my truck came off a 2016 TRD offroad both front and rear, the 2016 truck had a few hundred miles on it and had an after market suspension put on at the dealership, I was lucky enough to purchase the factory suspension from the Toyota Dealership and had it installed on my truck. I dont know exactly how much lift it gave me but it worked great.
