3rd Gen Magnetic Gray Thread

I wash/wax pretty frequently but to me it doesn't seem to really show the dirt too bad. One negative aspect is that it scratches easily, not quite as bad as black though. I would choose it over white, but that's just me.

 

No, that should not have happened! Wheels should not be scratched during tire installation. Let us know what they say. It's a pretty easy fix by a wheel repair shop, but you shouldn't have to pay for it.

I think he means if you were taking them off road they might get scratched up anyway. Have you tried taking a microfiber towel to it and see if it cleans up any? It may just be grease or whatever they use to lube the wheels when they put the tires on. Give that a try and put some elbow grease into it. It might clear up.

 

Just start rubbing a little bit with the top of that wheel in the left pic and see if any of that lighter stuff cleans up.

I did not expect the bronze wheels to look good on MGM, but I was wrong.

 

Yeah I took a risk and had second thoughts while waiting for it to come in. Now I'm happy since it's different than all the black wheels out there.

 

im debating matt bronze or gloss mag gray on mine... those bronze look good

I am looking at those same Fn Fx wheels. I can't decide what color!

 

Settling with derp and a glossifier till I find an excuse to get the TRD pro grill. Came out better than expected since I've never used the glossifier before. Looking for some TRD PRO rims and still need a good window tint till I'm satisfied for a while
