Full Dakar leaf pack plus the d29xl aal. I was lucky to get the updated version with isolators already installed. I had the aal drilled so I could put isolators in that as well. The new pack also had thin metal isolators in the center so I had to find something that would work for my aal. I ended up using a plastic ice cream pail (2 layers each leaf) to make a spacer.
I also installed a new, longer center pin, with a collar (for a 3* axle shim) which was the perfect length for adding the aal and collar.
Just a crappy quick iPhone picture.

So I've been battling a clunking noise in parking lots. Mostly turning but sometimes when coming to a stop as the weight comes off the front end. I initially installed the ome 884s and the Dakar leaf pack. Thinking my UCA was hitting my coil I installed icon uniball UCAs. I can't for the life of me figure out where this clunk is coming from. I work at a Lexus shop and haven't ever experienced any lift kit problems. Any OME gurus out there to help me pinpoint my problem?

During install of the UCAs I notice the driver side loosened up since the install with some play but even after replacing with icon and rechecked for loose bolts the clunk never changed. Everything went together fairly easily so idk if I'm overlooking something or something is about to break on me.

I just installed OME 885's with Nitrocharger shocks. Today I noticed that when I turn sharply to the right, the rear part of my passenger LCA rubs against the inner side of the tire and cause noise/rubbing when rolling slowly. It could definitely pop the tire eventually. Now I'm concerned. Have you had that issue with a simple 2" lift?

Have you read about over speed bump goes clunk? Might be your issue but probably doesn't explain the noise when coming to a stop.
What BS wheels do you have?

No I haven't read about it but it definitely it seems like the shocks get fully extended. Not sure on the back spacing but I have enough to run 285s with no real cutting

    Workin' on it....
I'll hopefully be doing my suspension later this summer/fall. Do most people throw a 3 degree shim in there to correct drive train angles or is it really a case by case basis?

The BS statement was for the other comment I quoted.

Every truck is different but since I'm installing the OME Dakar leaf pack plus the aal, I'm hoping 3* will work to help with any vibes I may get.

All I did was put the carrier bearing drop,no shims and I have no vibrations. I think its more of a case by case

It's case by case. I have a gen 3 with 888 OME coils and an AAL with stock UCA's and no vibes with my lift.

I lifted my truck 2.5" up front and 3" in the rear with Kings and Dakar leaf packs. Headstrong included am OME driveshaft spacer (I believe it's also called a carrier bearing drop...?) with my Dakars. I installed it (didn't drive the truck before installing it) and I have some driveline vibrations. Is it possible that I didn't need the drop and that it could cause vibrations itself?

That's what I was thinking, I just didn't know if it would be possible to have vibrations with the spacer, implying that I may not need it/not need it quite as much.

Now that my lift is complete, I noticed that the OME shocks up front with 885 coils are knocking/clunking over speed bumps. Happens after the peak and on the way down off the bump. If I creep really slow, doesn't happen though.

I refuse to accept this lol!

Cereal dough, can I put 5100s on the 885s without issue? Because I hate yellow, and knocking sounds from suspension just don't sit right with me.

Yep, 5100s with 885s is fine. It's what most people with the clunk end up doing.
