I don't have an issue with the acceleration. But I didn't buy this as drag truck lol.

And now the rest of the story. Those in Moab have heard this but I have to fully own up here.

So, I recorded the video of me putting my tent on my truck. A did a dry run just to make sure everything lined up. Recorded the video and posted it up.

A little bit later I tightened down 3 of the brackets to the bed bars. I couldn't get to the back one of the passenger side. Hoped in my truck and pulled it forward with a crashing sound. Look in the side view mirror and I see my soft topper down over a good part of the tent and hanging off the side of my truck. Really lucky it didn't scratch the rearquarter panel.

I had forgotten to remove the rope from the tent. The back one just slid off, but the front one held on tight. It yanked one of the pulleys off the ceiling and the topper came crashing down.

To add insult Scotty was coming by in the next hour to pick up his skids and I would be damned if I let him see that right after posting the video. Grabbed my wife, got the soft topper situated. Pulled my truck out and then scrambled to get the pulley reattached and everything looking normal. Swore her to secratcy and played it cool when Scotty arrived.

I was a true victim of Karma and now you all know.
