Dropped my Tacoma off at the dealer so they could fix the damage they caused from dropping the truck off their lift. They put me in 2016 4Runner and now my wife says she wants one. On a good note, my lift arrived and I am dropping it off at the dealer tomorrow to be installed while they have it.

Finally got a rain free day to get all the "new to me used truck maintanence" done. Started with this at 1pm:
    IMG_6418.jpg
Decided to start by removing skid plates as I'll be removing rust and then painting them soon, one had a seriously stuck bolt so that took me a minute.

Drained rear diff and changed fluid. Pretty dark and smelly with lots of metal on drain plug. Put in new fluid, spilled some everywhere, realized the way I jacked up the truck put the rear end highter than the front so I ended up having to let about a cup of fluid slowly drain out the full plug to get the right level after leveling the truck.

Couldn't get the front diff drain plug off!!!! Sprayed it with PB Blaster and will give it another go one day after work this week. Didn't get to the transfer case either. Discovered this when I was under the front end:
    IMG_6420.jpg
The passenger side seems to be leaking...looks like maybe doing the CV axles before this winter.

Changed the spark plugs with absolutely no problems! Old plugs were originals at 109k miles and were all gapped between 64 and 70.

    IMG_6423.jpg

Also changed the oil in this truck and my girlfriend's Subaru (which I hate reading the oil level because it always looks too full even though I put in the exact amount it takes according to the manual).

    Wrapped up at around 7pm.

    I'm exhausted now.

Easy mod day. After receiving my goldmember hi lift adapter I reorganize some other stuff. Upgraded my Relentless hi lift base with left over black diamond grip tape.

Didn't take any pictures, but I met Drew @tacobell007 and his buddy Levi, for some work to my truck. We changed all the fluids, put in the ECGS bushing, replaced the frozen camber adjustment hardware. I'm spent.

IDK I'm looking also but that seems awful light. I have heard some good things about the badlands 12.000 lb winch

You had a few good answers already but I'll throw mine in anyway.

That's an ATV winch. You want something 1.5x the weight of your truck at a minimum. Stock is 4000lbs, but loaded with armor, camping gear, and passengers we're more like 6000. I use a smittybilt 9.5k and it hasn't let me down in the 3 years I've had it. They don't have the reputation of brands like Warn, but don't have the pricetag either.

I got my bed stiffeners installed. I had the gussets cut at 90 degrees but I think I should have cut them at 85-87. They didn't pull the bed square to the tailgate. I think I can shim the bottom at that will pull the top some more.
