When you dial 911 on a highway, chances are good you will be routed to a CHP dispatch center that handles a huge area and dispatches for CHP and other agencies-which means wait times will be long when they are busy--that's what sucks about cellular 911 service. Hard to know how much longer you might have been on hold but it does sound like no one else called the CHP.

I probably wouldn't have hung up-even if there were injuries. I am glad to hear you stopped to assist and that no one was seriously hurt.

Not sure if it's still the same, but all cell phone 911 calls used to be routed to a chp dispatch center in Vallejo. Then they are routed to the proper local dispatch.

Yeah as far as I know it is still the same. Not sure if Vallejo but still routed to a central dispatch then sent out to county/city dispatch

I'm super confused right now. Can anybody explain how cat food gets stuck in the cabin air filter? We have a fuck ton of cats that roam the neighborhood. But don't get the whole food in the filter thing...

A lot of crap and too much money spent
That's to bad, if some old man back into my front before I had my bruteforce bumper, I would have been getting it for free.

yeah, he didnt hit hard enough to do damage, thankfully it just knocked the top side of the bull bar back a few inches. got home and repositioned it. no damage to either vehicle minus a few scuff marks on his bumper. he offered to pay cash for any damages but i showed him that i could fix it by loosening the bolts and moving it.
