Lumpia and a pitcher of MoJo And maybe grilled monkey meat on a bamboo stick for desert.

Grilled a steak tonight with a good sear



Let sit for 20 min on the cool side of the grill and split a zuke



After supper still have 2 meals left it was about 2.5" thick. Even the dog was happy he got the rib before I put it on the grill.



Smoking some fatties and Atomic Buffalo Turds for desert. ABT should be done now need to go check. The fatties will be for breakfast and during the week.



ABT= Anahiem peppers, cream cheese, green onions, cheddar cheese little smokies. Wrapped in bacon.

One fatty is medium spiced sausage with chopped green onion and some cheese inside.



Wrapped in bacon.

The other is Hot Spice sausage filled with cheese and green onions and butt rub.

Burp....

The lumpia was good though ... put a nice finish on the beers.

I'll do bacon with breakfast in the morning and make enough for a few BLTs ... picked up some nice tomatoes this morning and have some lettuce to use up.

 

Those can really help keep your stride going !!

That's not fair

 

I had BLT's last night, took a whole package of bacon for 2 of them. They aren't a full pound anymore

And they were awesome! Trying to keep it on Atkins but found a few slices of oatmeal bread in the freezer. Saw bacon. And tomatoes on the counter. And 3 Romaine hearts in the fridge I couldn't help myself... Despite being oatmeal bread toasted with Mayo and all the good stuff on it stuck to the roof of my mouth like good old fashioned white bread. Damn they were good!

If I wasn't a couple thousands of miles away Rob I'd have you over for dinner. And lunch and breakfast. 44* today all day yesterday was 41*. Time of year is wrong and it is warming up or I'd send you a care package! Or two.

First thing I did after crossing shit river was stop at the monkey on a stick stand and get 5. Then off to the bar for a pitcher of Mojo.

I appreciate the thought Mike. I'll make it through..made a big batch of red beans and rice with caribou chorizo that I'll get a few meals out of. Plenty of game meat in the freezer yet.
