    Get a leg sleeve they look like an athletic sock with the foot part cut off . Probably find it in a good pharmacy store. The nylon on the straps and Velcro will scratch and irritate your leg and itch when you start sweating .

    Not a compression though it might help the edema that is a DR question if you wear one of those . It really is like a sock it doesn't compress that much if at all it just provides a layer of cotton between your leg and the straps and such .

    I had the same problem when I first got this brace 6 years ago I had to wear it a couple hrs ea day until it felt comfortable
