These (2) round pads are the issue , when my knee was atrophied the brace fit well without the knee prosthesis . since getting the knee replacement my knee is much bigger causing those (2) pads to dig into my skin and causing chafing

Yeah you look at the picture of mine I have varying thickness neoprene padded covers to prevent the excess pressure there and the leg sock helps also.

    No, maybe, I dunno.
I got that knife in. It does feel nice, but it is fake fake fake.
Cuts the cheese real good, thats all I've used it for so far. I wasn't under any delusions that it was real though. But I like the look of it, and , I like the feel of it. The handle is a nice rosewood grain looking and its died kind of a purple tint. I know it isn't real Brazilian Rosewood like they are trying to make people think, because I have 3 guitars with rosewood fretboards. Rosewood is a very open pore wood,so this isn't. Probably some kind of Micarta or something. But, some day I think I shall try to make a set styled after this but real. Well, not the rosewood. I don't think that would be good.

Well .. When you go see the Dr tell him the brace is several years old and is not working for you and see if they can send you to get fitted for the one like I have since they make it custom to your leg and you get the extras :} .
