Thanks for the offer! We should be good though. We have reservations for the whole weekend, Friday through Monday. I'm at the point where I just take Friday off, I don't do the' work all day, go home, hook up the trailer than drive up' anymore. Not with 2 kids!

 

I do the same, except work all day Thursday, drive up Thursday night

I can relate to that. if you need anything wile you up here don't hesitate to ask

 

We did that a few times and it wasn't worth it. We'd get the kids loaded up, they'd fall asleep in the truck, then wake up when we try to move them from the truck to the camper. Then they'd be beyond the point of no return and we couldn't get them back to sleep. Just a terrible way to start the weekend. Now, we get them up early, load them in the truck, still in their pajamas, let them sleep part of the way there, stop and get breakfast somewhere along the way and that way, everyone is awake, happy and well fed when we pull in.

Yea that is a good point, how far of a drive for you is it? My camp is about 6 hours away, either of the 2 ways I could go. When I was a kid my parents you to leave at night after they had me stay up all day (no nap at daycare lol) then drive up (this was about 18 years ago). But I do know everyone is different and only 5 hours sleep for me at that point was not enough, especially after having to help unload the truck at midnight/1am. I'm 23 now and have no kids. I also prefer driving at night, it's how I go to the camp, and how I drive to SC (15 hour drive in 1 shot with a nap before I start)

How does it sound? I think most exhausts for Subies sound terrible. I have only heard one that I liked and that's probably because if had a muffled tone, not very loud

 

It's tame at idle/cruising.

When you get on it, you get the rumble and roar, but again, not very loud in the cabin at all!

This is the Invidia Q300. It's the quieter one of the two that are most popular from them. The one everyone has is the N1, but that's loud.

On the 2.5, it sounds amazing

 

If at all possible, I drive at night, every fall asleep on the ride and I just sleep in a little the next morning, sometimes.

Buddy gave it to me, he ordered it from California I think. It was on his 2nd gen, which he traded for a 3rd then had to dump it due to employment change.

 

Yea I prefer driving at night, or through the night depending on where I'm going
