    I'm in shock!!

Ok so 36 ppl complained that the ATF was low on fluid?
Top it off, with no major/mass failures reported, problem solved.

26 had CPS failures, replaced sensor problem solved.

17 had body and paint problems?
Apply adhesive on the vibrating hood, touch it up and done.

The rest are too little to list.
All sarcasm aside, out of some 160k units in service, is this really a problem??

A friends '17 Canyon diesel just had to have the full wiring harness replaced along the length of the truck. This could be your issue as well.

Err..hammer this is Huston, we’re advised of the situation there at TW, and we see no problem, we repeat NO PROBLEM!

What you have is tiny sales from the Colorado, vs the larger Tacoma, our estimates show if we enlarge the numbers, the Colorado has HUGE number of failure problems.

Your problem is solved you’re good to Tacoma!

Did a quick look at the first quarter of 2017 and roughly 240,000 Silverado/Sierra and 60,000 Tacoma so pretty much 4 to 1.

Just because something has a multi-speed auto does not mean constant shifting, if it has enough power and proper programming it should be fine. Reading reviews on the 10 speed F150 mention how little it shifts.

Not trying to argue but I live in a fairly rural area of WV and we are surrounded by mountains. Lots of trucks of all makes. And alot of people hunt. This is what I've noticed. The guys who deer hunt usually pull a sidexside drive big jacked up Ford's and GM's park their truck beside the road and ride to their UTV's their hunting spot. The guys who hunt bear and racoon drive Tacomas and driver their trucks through the mountains and along the ridges to catch up with their dogs. With that being said these hunters who use dogs abuse these Tacomas and they swear by them. I have a 08 4x4 and have had my truck in some pretty hairy places and have never been stuck or broke down. It's a daily driver with 188k on her and I've been looking at getting a 3rd Gen because the Toyota has been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned and I've had them all(Ford, GM, Jeep Dodge).

Maybe so, not a gear head, but read the twins forums - they shift... A LOT like the current AT Tacos I suppose.... Me, I shift when I want to or what I feel is best for the driving situation. SO SO SO Happy I got a MT vs the AT - whew

Auto drivers shouldn't be complaining. Let the truck do its thing and focus on not crashing.

It's all comparative. When you hop in the 2016 4Runner with 4.0L and auto trans and it shifts, drives and performs great well then you expect nothing less from an even more expensive 2016 Tacoma!
