Northern Virginia Roll Call

I am going to be doing my badges this weekend probably. Saving up those dumbass sales flyers to cover my truck

No need to get that serious. I just used some papertowels and taped them about 2 inches away from my badging. I think it took about maybe 20 sheets of paper towels for all of the badging.

 

that's the issue.... I find it tedious and delicate.

The only tedius part is getting the little parts out of the "A" and "O." Granted I enjoy painting stuff with a can.

 

I just took my badges off. I thought about plasti-dipping them but I didn't think it looked that good on impulse red - not much contrast like there is on an orange or silver truck.

 

I didnt mean entire truck...just a nice area around the badge, you know for just in case I fuck up, or get stung by a bee and I randomly spray.

 

I didn't tape the whole thing up either. Just saying that one emblem can take up to 5 pieces of paper towel to surround. As far as spraying, the idea is to hit it every angle possible. I would be surprised if you found a way to mess that up.

 

Considering there is someone somewhere that ate the heating element in an MRE bag at some point that caused the US Military to put a warning label saying don't eat the heating element, Odds are pretty good that I could possibly fuck this up. Not generate a new warning label, change in instructions fuck up, but fuck up none the less.

 

Well I would help you out if I wasn't going out of town until Wednesday. Gonna have the truck parked anywhere for a few hours this week? Remember this stuff isn't like paint where overspray happens everywhere. You can also clean up random spots in seconds as its just sticky plastic. I did my badges when it was getting close to winter so my wait times were also longer. In these temps you should be able to do your coats in decent time.

Damn you got a good memory. LTX M/S 2 have been doing their thing. I had the dunflops on for a while. They sucked monkey balls
