yup, i know all about that. GF works at a global wildlife tourism company, she manages all their south american destinations. There's an eternity of stuff to explore down there, we're trying to take the taco down there in 5 or so years and have it ocean freighted back to the US after our couple months of shenanigans

I'm not sure how I missed that sucker haha. I was kind of on a time crunch though since I was moving. If I remember tomorrow I'll post the route I took. In all honesty my trip was about 70% planned and 30% "I'm gonna go this way..." and winging it. Especially getting closer to Jasper and heading south from there.

    step one, pop hood.
step two, loosen battery and slide that bad boy over a couple inches.
step three, locate the huge ass gray connector right on the inner fender beside the battery, two wires on each end.
Step four, unplug it, tape up the ends and put that other shit back where it was.

it'll be a couple hours yet before I get the beer step. Maybe an hour.

Since Tundras have become a hot topic recently...roommate picked this beast up on Saturday and so we took it to the woods.

He traded in his 2014 4Runner Limited with about 46,000 miles (and almost paid off) for a fully-paid for 2016 Camry SE with roughly 35,000 miles and the rest of the equity went toward the Tundra...2017 SR5 with some upgrades.

I'm having issues with my ARB compressor. I can get the compressor running while testing, without the motor running. Once I start the truck and hit the switch, the fuse blows.

Nothing I can test points me to what the issue is. I've bypassed the switch and the compressor will run. I've swapped switches and tested the same way and the fuse blew again.

@Star-Lord , too bad you kept your stove info a secret until after i ordered the camp partner.

They use a "30 year old custom sized, made in house gas fitting which is a bad design". Which means standard lines won't fit. Can't get an elbow for it because it's custom, and the line itself has a nipple that needs to be depressed by the inside of the fitting.

Trying to figure out a solution since they told me to fuck off since i had drilled the holes for the mount. All i need is a 90 degree fitting but no such thing exists.

Would've never guessed a company would be so stupid... Other than Apple with their "custom" sized cable connectors. :annoyed:

    Well, that just sucks. Damn.
    Pic of the fitting?

Brass fittings can be cut and brazed together to make another custom pos if you want...
