    Only problem I'm having is a buzzing sound from speakers now. Tried a different ground but didn't help. I'm using two loc's one for front and one for rear as Inputs for 4ch amp. And preamps from 4ch to sub amp. If anyone has advice on solving this problem I could use it.

    Yes it's a buzzing. Not like static. I just re ran my power wire away from rca wires didn't help

    Just wanted to weigh in here and say thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread. It has been immensely helpful as I work through my upgrade.

    Some progress from this weekend....all four doors and cab have been deadened. Ran power cables from battery, Speedwire harness from head unit to LC7i, more Speedwire from amp location back up to dash. I also installed an inverter under the driver's seat.

    When you say you decrease sensitivity do you mean on the LOCs or on the amps?

    I would recommend to do with a kicker sum8 like I have or an lc7i type unit like what others have used. They are higher quality than those cheap LOCs. I still have a slight hum in my system though, I have heard that is pretty normal in these types of setups. I still need to do some adjustments but it isn't that bad so I haven't messed with it at all.

    Stock speakers front and back just ordered the Subaru kicker tweeters and for LOC I just purchased this kit I saw on eBay with a wiring harness took a chance on it but worked perfectly! IMG_0289.jpg
