    Haha, I was gonna suggest 120 if you were going to spray it. Not bad for your first foray into glass. A suggestion for future work would be to knock it down with 80 grit first and then hit it with the 120. If you wanted to get really particular, you could then slap some bondo on it before going to the 120, let it cure good and then sand it smooth with 80 followed by 120 and then spray it and it should look like it was never damaged. :thumbsup:

    What you got is fine though. Probably at least as good as I would have done, just because I don't usually have the patience to get things super smooth. :rofl:

    In all honesty though, I would think the bottom would be the most critical area where you're want it super smooth so it'd glide through the water with as little drag as possible...but then with an 8hp motor on it, a little drag isn't gonna kill it, haha.

    Haha, I wasn't really thinking about how fast it'd go. It's clearly not that type of boat. I was thinking more in terms of efficiency. But like I said, with an 8hp motor, a little drag won't kill ya. If, on the other hand, you were paddling it, I'd want that sucker as slick as I could get it. :cool:
