    I guess this can be considered a mod, although its pretty slight, but anyway....after seeing how sweet Jhodge's truck looked with his wheels painted black, I decided to give it a go and see and it turned out. here are the results! (thanks for all of the help hodge!)

    thanks, every once in a while i try to be a mad scientist and just try some stuff. next on the list is gonna be tinted windows, nerf bars, bull bars......who knows after that.

    its pretty hard to mess up. its just spray paint. if you do somehow mess it up, just sand it off.

    Wheels look real nice, dude! I can't tell from the pics, but do these new Tacomas' have disk brakes in the rear? Have you thought about painting your calipers (black) too? Last weekend I painted my drums & calipers with black high heat spray paint & it turned out pretty nice with the silver wheels....:D

    I used krylon primer then krylon paint. I used the satin finish as opposed to flat black.

    Thats the best way to paint, if you dont want a shiny black look you can paint with just primer and clear coat it. Comes out somethin like this
