Well the interview couldn't have gone better yesterday. My stuff is getting passed on the the manager I'd be working with and we will go from there, but it sounded like I had a good shot! The HR lady was impressed. We shall see!

 

Better get there early! Parking is always a crap shoot on gun show days.

 

It has a date with some mud and dirt on Saturday.

Has the hysteria died down any? I haven't been in a couple of years, and that's because at one point it wasn't even worth going among fighting the lines and everything good being cleaned out within the first couple of hours.

I'm trying to score this deal: guy has a 2003 John Deere L110 lawn tractor / mower for sale.... runs great, low hours, needs a tune up and a new PTO cable for the mower deck.... $100 I figure I'll check it out and as long as it drives well, I'll pick it up and put $50 worth of parts into it and I'll have a great tractor for $150!

 

It honestly hasn't gotten better. I went the last few times and it's still pretty bad. The prices are also hiked up, but they have it right there...I'm ok with that. Last couple times I did go, I had to park at WalMart, which I know they're not happy about (that was at the time the show opened). Before the show opened, the lines went around the strip mall to the outer side on the main road!
And, to be honest....I'm not sure they have the "good stuff" "good deals" "good whatever".....it's a marketing ploy in my opinion......"oh, we just sold our last one 20 minutes ago!" BS!! That's a straight up lie. Feeling my animosity here? lmao!!
