I just picked up a Bose SoundTouch 300 sound bar and sub.

Its good enough. Cant really let it fly because sleeping kids...but....

There is finally some base, and really clear mids and highs. Good enough for now.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Bose is usually spot on with sound quality. Plus it doesn't take much.

I got one of those for my pc. I used to use for surround. I love my Sonos playbar and sub. They are pricey but got 40% off through my brothers shop.

I just wish I never watched his setup. Makes me sad every time I watch mine.

Its good enough for me. Years, YEARS with just shitty Samsung sound.

Now, I have a good range. Happy for now. Looking in to this Atmos system...never heard of it.

Bose sounds great. I only wish they didn't use proprietary cabling. Makes custom installs harder.

I wants it. Problem is my living room is an odd shape and layout. So I may not get the full effect. However, the quality would greatly improve.

Our living room is connected openly to our dining room....strange, can get pics if you'd like. But the dining room is like, 9ft wide and connected to the living room its like, 30 feet long. The living room is like 21 feet long by 12 feet wide. We have the TV mounted above the fireplace and sit about 12 ft away, meaning we have a 21 foot wide listening area. When I set up the Bose, it accounted for all of the strange dimensions and it FREAKED ME THE FUCK OUT that very first night watching Fast and Furious. It sounded like someone was in our driveway. I was looking for headlights and shit....

your kitchen/ living sounds like how ours will be. kinda curious how the sounds are going workout. I just have a soundbar under the TV. i don't want to go crazy, because i know i'll get carried away. i try to keep my acoustic concerns limited to headphones.
