Looks like you're using the right lug nuts. What are you torquing them to? That can play a factor in them breaking. Also is that wheel hub centric, does it have up and down play when sitting on the hub with no lug nuts on? That can also play a factor. There are a few other things that can do that as well, but I'll wait for your answers to these.

Torqued to 80ft/lbs but I don't know about to wheel being hub centric to be very honest. It doesn't move almost at all on the hub without lug nuts but each wheel/tire setup is 100+lbs so it's hard to lift and wiggle them in general.

Steelies are almost never hub centric. @Texoma she stated shes using her lugs from her factory wheels which are for sure hub centric. My bet is still incorrect lug bolts.

    Unfortunately it's not a wagon it's a sedan.

Also on the wheel front I looked them up and it doesn't say they're hub centric. I didn't have any issues really until after my tie rod bent on that side wheeling and we replaced it. Since then it's been eating them up.

Well luckily these are just my trail wheels/tires and not the daily. I could always throw those back on if need be.

Its an issue that is fixed by getting lugs that will center the wheel on the truck, since the hub wont do it. Again, if shes using lug bolts from her OEM hubcentric wheels, those need to swap out for centering lugs.

Interesting info on the bent tie rod though, maybe there is more to the story.

@CarmenSanDiego did you align it all after the tie-rod job? How were the specs?

The boyfriend and the alignment guy did some kind if wizardry to get it aligned decently after the repair(since we were 200 miles from home in the woods)and it's supposed to be back this weekend to get back on the machined and aligned for real. I'm sure it contributes to the issue not being perfectly aligned but I don't see it snapping 2 in roughly 2 weeks when I drive about 2 miles a day round trip to work.
