Really? I'm pretty weight savings in stronger material is a selling point on pretty much all armor...Same with the extended length, better mounting configuration and being all bolt on. Hence, you might not need an aftermarket housing, but wouldn't it be a lot better to not have to do things twice? And wouldn't you feel better knowing you didn't purposely create a weak link somewhere? I know it was worth it for me. 3 years later, absolutely zero issues and you know how I drive my truck cuz you have ridden in it more than once. If you have to do it, why not do it right? Buy once cry once.

Not sure if I've ever posted my lady's 4Runner in here. 2016 Trail Premium no KDSS with all the Pro facias. Icon Stage 2 with TC UCAs, Method NVs, 285/70/17 Toyo RTs, Baja Designs squadron sport fogs and Squadron Pros on SDHQ A-Pillar mounts. She picked out some sliders and a Roof Rack at Expo too :spy:

Spendy, I won't argue that. I think they're like $900ish uncoated but they are scores nicer than anything else available.

Damn. I would like the weight savings, but not enough to pay that much more. I'm sure somebody who really abuses the truck would appreciate the added strength though.

Idk if I want pro front end stuff now. It looks so good but I've already sliced up the front. I'd love the scooped hood though.

Pretty jealous of you guys with SOs that have built 4Runners. It's a perfect pairing! My wife is in full-ass mom mode and last I checked, there are no options on the King Shocks website for "Highlander"

We got a civic because We didn't need two gas guzzlers. If I lived in a cheaper state maybe we would have gotten her a more fun car haha. She loves the civic though!

I'd say love where you live. Is it 20% less than you current salary or 20% less than the greater salary?

Since you're not married and no kids don't base your decision on money. It is super important but I'm assuming you don't have that many expenses besides the typical home/car/food, maybe school. You'll make the money back eventually but enjoying going home and relaxing (if the other place is dangerous) is totally worth it. I'm sure your girlfriend would appreciate that as well.

Basically my girlfriend is moving for school and I'm trying to decided what to do with my life.

We live in a nice place. I can move to a nicer place with 20% less pay. Place to live isn't quite as nice, but is cheaper and has a real 2 car garage. Would live with friends while the gf is across the country. Might be nice.

Gotcha, bummer the transfer didn't work. I think moving with your friends would be worth it. You seem to be on the marriage path with the GF and this may be the last time to live the "bachelor" life. Had roommates in college but never after when I actually had some money to play with. Probably be fun while she is gone.

lol I was saying 5 months isn't bad.

I'm not concerned about the LDR, more my career. It's the best opportunity I have to switch things up

    I'm kinda
in the same boat. Gf is on the other coast and we will soon be together but I have deff had a shit ton of fun playing with cars and hanging out with friends not worrying about what she wants to do.

I mean I can't wait to live with her again but I know there will be much less me time and the toys will get less playtime.
