    Hi All,

I'm looking to wire in some new switches for my exterior lights using the existing switch locations just to the left of the steering wheel (2nd gen). I know there's a fuse box there, and was wondering if any of those fused (or unused) circuits are ones which power on when the interior lights are on (i.e. dash lights). I am either looking for a circuit that comes on with ignition, but preferably one where my new switches will light up when I turn the rest of my dash lights on. Anybody care to point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

    John

In the drivers side box, the 10A TAIL fuse controls illumination for the interior/gauges.

Perfect - so an add-a-circuit to the 10A tail fuse should do the trick. I'm not looking at the box right now (I'm at work), although is it the only 10A in the box and/or is it in a particular location?

There should be a diagram on the box cover.

I tapped in to the wires themselves when I installed switches below HVAC controls. I believe green white is + and green is -.
