Hey quick question? I also have a Satoshi with PIAA 520's behind them and the only have about 1" of clearance until it hits the grill screen. Now with that bracket it looks like it would hit the grill screen since it sticks out more? How close are your lights to the grill screen anyways?

How much brighter is the 55w compared to the 35w?

Your looking at atleast $120 for 7" HIDS plus shipping. The hellas at $62 from walmart and the HID kit is 29.99. Plus shipping. So you save around $20-$30

got those measurements for ya ty. i've got another 2.5" clearance behind my lights to the rad. my hellas are 3" deep, which means i have 5.5" from the front of my lights to the surface of the rad. here's a top view



if your lights are almost 6" deep, you'll have to mount them a little more forward to clear the rad. you'd have to use a larger angle iron or extend the bracket a little further forward.

 

yeah, i wanted them to sit close to the grill for maximum light. i mounted them so that there's only about a 1/8" gap between the back of the grill and the front of the hellas. here's a pic of the space between the rad and the grill if that helps you out:
