Seriously though. Don't do shrugs. Don't train so much at once. Don't over train. Might as well hit a muscle group once a week. 25 mins max. Only way to make gainz. You can close this thread now. No more information is needed.

Wtf you're gonna burn out. Once a week is entirely too damn much. Once a month and make it count.

So would we classify a hydro massage followed by a 1 hour deep tissue massage overtraining?

Get 5 consecutive years under your belt before you worry about overtraining

Why do you think last week's was overtraining? Let me break this down as simply as possible for you:

When I work chest once a week, I do 4 exercises, 4 sets of 10ish in 1 day = 160 total chest reps for the week.

When I do chest two times a week, I do 4 exercises, but I only do 3 sets of one and 2 sets of the other on each chest day = 50 total reps per chest day * 2 chest days per week = 100 total reps for chest day.

How is that overtraining? Just because I do a muscle group more than once a week, it doesn't mean it's overtraining.

Also, I've been doing this for years and have never had a CNS meltdown and my benchpress numbers (and other lifts) continue to rise. I don't have trouble sleeping and my muscles aren't deteriorating....0 symptoms of overtraining.

Just because people don't do yours and Lee Haney's training regime, it doesn't mean it's ineffective. The prime reason I know it's effective is because I'm seeing results...can you say the same? Just because you've been going to the gym for 100 years, it doesn't make you an expert.

You guys are over training your fingers going back and forth on this e-fight. I'd recommend letting your butt hurts recover for at least 48 hours before continuing.

    Lulz.

Seriously though, how you haven't won the Olympia yet (or at least sell protein on Instagram), I'll never know. You seem to have found the one and o lu way to train that works.
