Time for the annual surface resupply to Thule. This happens every year at the same time, yet many just want to panic, acting as if they’ve never done it before. Fun times.

I've been using 24 hr clock and military Phonetic alphabet daily for the last 36 years

Any digital clock such as my phone , radio in my truck or even my alarm clock all display 24hr format

I even when reading map coordinates will refer to distance as a klick or kilometer

That happens up here too, same stuff happens every year around the same time, and people lose their minds and want to invent processes ... I just shake my head and go do what we always do ... the best part is when they go all "wow, great idea, let's do that."

o_O Thinking to myself, "well, yeah, it's what we always do this time of year." Maybe I am a grumpy old bastard?

Folks here have gotten complacent - thinking either that the port cut off date is just a suggestion or if it misses the boat that we can just fly it. As if their Class 6 freight is priority to the guys at Dover. :plane:

Looks like our cat Merlin. I'm trying to teach him to open doors and pick locks. Nobody suspects the cat. Training is going so-so
