I'm guessing his old lady won't give him any. That's about the only damn thing I have seen that can make a man nag everyone around them like he does. He is miserable, and everyone else around him must be too. Hell, if you don't like it... get rid of it. Otherwise, your opinion means nothing to me. Same as a job, or a relationship, or anything else.

Wait, why is this posted here?

I mean, yes, it shows the Ridgeline weakness, but it also has 3 of the 4 testers preferring the Frontier over the Tacoma.

Myopic-- You're oversimplifying based on your one opinion or the opinion of a few....a narrow perspective, dismissing the bigger picture as I pointed out earlier.

I notice a lot more '16 3G owners complaining about the tranny...I haven't noticed in 5,000 miles on my '17...is there any difference between the 2 years.....i.e. did Yota address it/mitigate it? Or could it be and OR thing or 4x4 thing?

Hahahah you're a funny guy smitty.

But let's play, I'm bored at work.

So you're saying......the vast amount of people that are saying their Tacomas are trouble free and fine... they are myopic and not seeing the bigger picture. BUT, the MINORITY of owners that have issues, some of which are not "issues" really but complaints about the design or character.......they have the clear picture.

    Hmmm.............HMMMMM

Now....if you are to argue that Toyota quality has decreased over the years....then fine. I'm not going to argue that because it's impossible to prove. Just don't forget you're also making generalizations.

Never stop your crusade my friend...it's endlessly entertaining. Stay strong ;)

Like I said in my post #260 here. It's not about one or two people who do or do NOT have problems. It's about the bigger picture which includes the quality studies, review sites, etc.

Sure, I see what you're trying to get at. But that's the problem, you have it in reverse. It's not just "one or two" people who do NOT have problems. It's more like, the "one or two" that HAVE issues.

Again, if you want to use other sources and anecdotal evidence to say quality has been decreasing, then I'm not gonna say it's faulty. BUT, to take it further and say the car is a turd just because YOU got shafted, well.....*shrug*

I mean I get it, you got a lemon, it sucks. You won the shit lottery. Doesn't mean it's a perfect car, doesn't mean it's shit.

Also to add......most people, they move on. I would bet 9/10 people would already have traded in their car. They would have maturely recognized, "hey, i got screwed, other people didn't, kudos to them, I'm hopping off this train". But you smitty, you glorious, mysterious, bastard, seem to enjoy misery. So you kept the car, apparently put money INTO the car, and now you're on this forum trying to make everyone just as miserable as you. That's why people call you names bro. They're not "blind" or "in denial". Sure you got the few crazies that would literally fuck their truck, but by and large whenever someone posts something with an issue, they usually get greeted with sympathy and advice. We all recognize nothing is perfect.....it's what we do about it.....

Exactly.... this right here. Apparently the truck is better than he will ever admit. Otherwise he would have traded it in for the "better" options.

I'm persistent. Sure there are other synonyms to describe it.

I can count I just didn't realize I have to constantly hold your hand and spoon feed with you with asinine details to get my point across. Here, walk with me, young padawan.
