Poor Powder Coating Job?

I decided to Powder Coat my wheels when I was down in Florida for work a month ago. I moved back home to New Jersey, and shorty after I noticed a chip on one of the wheels. I called the company down in Florida and they were going to take care of it.No Problem. Great!. Today, I went to a self service car wash, and noticed another wheel's coating starting to peel off!! So I called again down to the shop. It seems that there going to stand behind there work, and take care of this problem. What do you guys think? What should I do? Thanks.

Well since I noticed the first chip on the wheel, I've been pretty crazy about checking the wheels like after everything. I went out today 4 wheeling, but afterward I went around and checked the wheels and they looked just fine. Then I did a self wash, and that's when this mess appeared.

 

I had my stock steelies powder coated. Same thing happened. The guy "who guaranteed his work" was out of business by the time I tried to have him redo them 8 months later.

 

dude my rattle can jobs have lasted better than that, either have them redo it, or refund and do it yourself

 

The place I go to they acid dip all wheels and anything that has paint/clear/old powder coat on them. Wheels have clear.

 

i would get your money back and go somewhere else.

that doesnt look like powder coat to me, just had a few things done and my powder coating was much thicker....i would be calling the shop who did it......

 

WOW...Not trying to be a dick because you got screwed- but my 15 bucks of spray paint looks better and has worn less.

Good luck getting something done- I'd look for a refund and another shop or something.

after further examination i would almost bet thats rattle can....hope not but its sure not powder coat
