Good to know. My brother came over and cut some the other day and we had to use my grinder

So the wife and I will be in Denver Colorado for one full day on the 29th, and I'm trying to get some ideas on what to do. Never been to Colorado before.

Currently I'm planning on going to Pike's Peak and then hiking Maxwell Falls Lower Trail. Still trying to find a good place for dinner that night. Open to any suggestions as well as if there's something else anybody would recommend going/doing instead of what I currently have planned.

Unfortunately just realized its not. As well as all my back ups. Got buddies down in Del Norte. They are proving useless as to knowing where to go

Seem pretty sturdy. Not sure if they'll be up there full time since they perfectly fit in other areas as well.

    Pretty cheap also.

Good place to not hear them rattle and stuff. It's a good option. For stuff.

If you want something fancy, Broadmoor Hotel. Foods amazing and it's a historic place. Fun to walk around. You would also enjoy the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and Carriage Museum they have too. http://www.visitcos.com/things-to-d...ings-learn-about-the-penrose-heritage-museum/

Have you looked at this on a map to see the distances between Denver, DIA and pikes peak?

Thanks for the heads up!
Yeah, we'll be driving from Vegas to Missouri and are stopping for a day on our way back. So as long as it's within a couple hours of Denver it's doable.
Haha yeah. I'm glad I'm choosing to drive on this trip instead of just flying straight to Missouri.

    Plethora of "useless" shit
It'll probably be nothing compared to the traffic he is used to when all of Southern California floods Vegas for Memorial weekend.

I know... But, I'm hoping that since we'll be there on a Monday most people will be on their way home rather than still enjoying the holiday weekend.

Which means any highways heading towards Denver will be gridlock... So just always head away from Denver and you'll be fine.

I did a killer hot springs loop on the MT/ID border. Not so much wheeling, more hiking, but you got back into some primitive spots with the greatest hot springs I've ever been in.

If you want I can dig out the photo albums and get the names of the hot springs that were the best. Pretty sure one of them was named Stanley Hot Springs but don't quote me on that.

Yeah, dont waste too much time, but if you remember some names I can probably find them. I'll be keeping the wheeling on the tame side and be doing plenty of hiking.
