looking to get my afr gauge installed.
    Bung already welded.

Anyone recommend a shop near LA ?
Or would like to help a brotha out ? Would most definitely compensate for your time.

Do it yourself... Other than pulling the dash if you want it to come on with your key, it's pretty simple unless you're wiring it to a stand alone ecu.

Which AFR system are you running? Most typical is the AEM Uego.

You don't even have to pull the dash for the accessory wire. Pull one of the switch blanks. Hardest part is passing the wire thru the firewall.

Got a speedhut gauge .. friend decided not to use so I got it at half the cost.

Long story short .. a shop in Burbank tried to install it on 3 different occasions with no avail. They kept blaming the manufacturer for faulty gauge, sensor or harness. All parts have been tested, retested by speedhut and confirmed working. I'm just fed up .. just want the damn thing installed and working.

It's only 4 wires and a harness for the O2. I'm just not comfortable doing it myself and prefer a clean install.

Thank goodness ... will send pm.
I'm thinking wires are already pre-ran through the firewall. Just need to find and connect.

AFR needs to read "air" so a hose will need to be connected to your intake plenum.

Unless you're running a turbo, you don't need an AFR.

    That's not true at All.
All u need is a bung welded in the exhaust and a sensor...I had one and it worked perfectly fine.

Also wrong again.....a afr gauge is certainly needed if you have a supercharger ....

Yep my bad, I was thinking of the boost gauge.

But an AFR for a factory supercharger? No need.

That would be way too lean at wot even with e85. You were probably closer to 10.5-11 in open loop. 14.7 in closed loop

I got it down to 11 after changing the map...it was running lean sure. I changed the map...the maf sensor and the plugs...had to change the map a bunch of times to get it low enough at WOT

The first gens are known for running lean under low load conditions and the 2nd gens for running pig rich at wot

Yeah it was a first gen...just looked back and it was in the 12s not 13s...still a little lean though. I had a 2.1 pulley too. Later switched to a 2.2 though
